Emil began his legal career as a paralegal before joining SLG LLP as a summer student, later returning as an articling student and then joining the firm as an associate. His articling term exposed him to a range of practice areas, giving him a strong foundation in how different areas of law support business operations.

Emil completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Surrey, UK, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. He became a paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario in 2014 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and NAIOP Toronto.
