Marie Dykukha joined SLG LLP as an associate lawyer after gaining broad in-house experience as legal counsel at a global automotive manufacturer. Marie works closely with clients to address commercial, regulatory, and dispute-related matters across Canada and develops practical legal solutions that balance legal requirements, commercial priorities, and operational realities.


Marie has experience advising on commercial transactions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, privacy and data protection, competition and marketing law, intellectual property, technology, employment, and risk management. She is thorough and detail oriented yet takes a practical and business-focused approach, helping clients understand their legal risks and incorporate workable solutions into their agreements, policies, programs, and business practices.

Education and Memberships

Marie completed her studies in both Canadian Common Law (J.D.) and Quebec Civil Law (LL.L.) at the University of Ottawa. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and is expected to be fully licensed in Québec by 2027.

Fluent in English, French, and Russian and trained in both common law and civil law, Marie brings a trilingual and bijural perspective to her practice.
