Education and Scholarships
Vitaly studied law at Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where he graduated in 1999 as a published tax author and recipient of Canada’s National Tax Award. He was also awarded the prestigious Newton Rowell Scholarship by the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario.
Following his articling with a leading Canadian law firm in Toronto, Vitaly pursued advanced legal studies as a Gerald Wallace Scholar at New York University School of Law’s LL.M. Program in Taxation—one of the most respected programs of its kind worldwide. During his time at NYU, he served as an Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
